About The Eddie Awards

At the heart of the Eddies is the desire to draw attention to excellence in Twilight fan fiction.

There are four categories:

There are other awards for Twilight fan fiction, but what makes the Eddies different is that every nomination is considered.

Procedure

The fics in each category that receive the most nominations will automatically move to the ballot. The remaining fics will be considered by a panel of peer validators. The peer validators go through the nominees and select the ones they believe most deserve to be on the ballot for this session. Once the ballot is filled, the voting period will be begin. During the voting period, judges will read the nominees in each category. At the end of the voting period, each category will have two winners: a winner selected by the voters, and a winner selected by the judges. It is possible for the same fic to win both awards. Both winners will be archived on the site.

Timeline

The Eddies are a yearly event. Nominations begin in December. Voting takes place in February. Winners are announced in March.
