Voting Rules for the Eddies and Bellies

Voting opens February 4, 2010 and is open for the entire month of February.

Each person may vote once. If more than one person in your household will be voting, please contact us to make sure we don't inadvertently toss out one of your household's voting forms.

Only those 13 and older may vote.

Votes will be counted only for people with a valid email address who click the link emailed to them to confirm their votes.

The Bellies award one award per category based on number of votes received. The Eddies award two awards per category: one based on number of votes received and one based on the selection of our judges.

Nomination Rules for the Eddies

The next round of nominations for the Eddie Awards will not happen until December 2010.

Stories nominated must meet eligibility requirements:

The nominees that receive the most nominations in each category will automatically progress to the ballot in January.

The validators will fill the remaining slots on the ballot with stories from the nominee pool. All eligible nominations will be considered for the ballot. The number of stories that make the ballot will vary by category-- i.e. the short fiction category will have more ballot slots than the novel categories.

There is no rule against nominating your own story.

You must be 13 years of age or older to participate in the nominating and voting process.

Nomination Rules for the Bellies

The next round of nominations for the Bellie Awards is tentatively scheduled for June 2010.

Any accessible Twilight fan fiction, complete or incomplete, published at any time, written by any author, with any rating, is eligible. The only exception is as follows:

There is no rule against nominating your own story.

You must be 13 years of age or older to participate in the nominating and voting process.

The ballot slots for each category will be filled by the four stories that receive the most nominations. In the event of a tie or near-tie for a ballot slot, we reserve the right to use our discretion in deciding how many stories progress to the ballot.
